Father's Day is coming up! My Dad has been gone now 19 years and I still miss him, but I feel so blessed that I could honor his memory by writing his biography. If you are looking for a gift idea for your Dad, think about buying him Alzheimer's, Archaeology, and the Armed Forces. It's a "Good Story!" Blessings to all you Dad's out there and to the folks who love them! Happy Father's Day!
“We tell ourselves stories in order to live.” ― Joan Didion This quote so very well fits my book: It is a true story of Life and Love! People tell me that they have laughed and cried their way through it; and by the end of the tale, they have fallen in love with the characters. Buy two copies: one to read to yourself and one to give to someone you love. Blessings Beloved...
You know something........ Sadness comes in so many forms. I cried on my way home tonight. I met Susan Steele after work to get this book she's written - as a gift for my Dad. My Dad and her Dad were good friends. It made me so sad to know how much this man, Gary Steele, meant to my Dad. Dad was telling me about him and what an amazing man Gary was. Dad told me that they were supposed to meet for supper and then he heard Gary was sick. So when I hugged Susan I hugged her tight. For her and for myself. Thank you Susan for this book. And signing it to Dad. ❤ What an honor to meet you today. T.Q.
There are a lot of folks out there who are struggling with Alzheimer's or know someone who is, my book is a gentle reminder that there is hope in the midst of Alzheimer's or whatever circumstances one might be dealing with. I pray that this book will let others know that they are not alone. Blessings Beloved.
